The Corsica appellation

Corsica

Terroir

The vineyards are located on the island's only plain, backed by rocky ridges rising to 1,200 metres. The soils are composed of recent alluvium, sandy marl, tufa and Quaternary deposits, all of which contribute to the minerality of the wines.

Grape varieties

For the reds: Niellucio, Sciaccarello and Black Grenache.
For the whites: Rolle.
For the rosés: Grenache, Nielluccio and Sciacarello.

Wine style

The reds have remarkable bouquets, they are heady and powerful, but with great finesse.
The fruity rosés exude a warm flavour of pepper and smoke.
The whites are fine and fruity.
