The Ventoux appellation

Southern Rhône Valley

Terroir

Situated at the foot of Mont Ventoux at an altitude of between 150 and 400 metres, it benefits from a Mediterranean climate with a mountain influence, giving the wines their distinctive character. Mainly limestone, the region's subsoils are made up of rolled pebbles, which drain but retain moisture, and, more rarely, magmatic (or crystalline) rock.

Grape varieties

For reds, the main grape varieties are Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre.
For whites, they are Clairette, Sémillon, Ugni blanc and Rolle (Vermentino).

Wine style

Specialist in fruity and generous rosé wines, the Provençal vineyard also produces powerful and full-bodied
reds or ample and very delicate whites.
